In our ward, we had 7 baptisms. Elder Rojche and me baptized 2 girls and the other 4 missionaries baptized 5 people. The baptism service was soooo beautiful and everyone who attended felt the spirit soo strong. We had over 35 friends, family, and members that attended.
One of the biggest parts of the experience was a man named Luis Torress. His legs got cut off in two different accidents and is in a wheelchair. He has such a strong faith of the church and gratitude for the missionaries. After he shared his testimony, there was not a single dry eye in the room including me. (maybe there were, because I couldn't see anything. haha) But I was able to help baptize him because it took 3 people and the feeling that filled the room was undeniable!
We have been working soooo hard but I wouldn't want it any other way. Every night, I come home absolutely wiped out and feel like I wont be able to get out of bed in the morning the next day and do it all over again but somehow I do.. There is absolutely no doubt that we have seen the Lords hand in this work recently.. and we are striving every day to find those people who he has prepared for us to find.
I know that there are people right now in Honduras that are literally waiting.. and alli have to do is find them. This makes me super motivated to know that their future and happiness is riding on my shoulders and that only Elder Lessard can find them!!!
Mom.. don't be jealous but I hate to break it to you but I have a new ma here in Honduras! haha
This is how I was washing my clothes by hand with 3 a different bucket. haha key word WAS.. thankx mama Rubi
This is called Pico Bonito. it's a 200ft waterfall that is so ginormous and beautiful! it's in the jungle and takes 3 hours to hike to the top. There are plants and animals and trees that you have never seen before, it is so beautiful!!
